Natalie Britton
Education & Background

I am an undergraduate student at Seattle Pacific University, majoring in Apparel Merchandising and Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. My studies have given me a strong foundation in fashion, business, and consumer engagement, allowing me to combine creativity with strategy.
Through my coursework, we have explored apparel textiles, visual merchandising, and the relationship between fashion and business. Additionally, studying international business and economics has strengthened my ability to analyze market trends and optimize brand positioning. This combination has equipped me with the skills to enhance consumer experiences and drive brand growth.
Academic Achievements & Campus Involvement
I have gained valuable hands-on experience through projects and leadership roles. One of my key accomplishments was developing a comprehensive fashion brand marketing plan for Luxian, a brand my team and I created from the ground up.
Beyond coursework, I have been an active member of MODE, my school’s fashion club, and contributed to the SPU Fashion Show. Additionally, I applied my skills in public relations and visual merchandising by curating product displays for a locally owned boutique. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect brands with their audiences.
Marketing & Digital Strategy
With a background in marketing, merchandising, and PR, I specialize in making compelling brand images that drive engagement. My experience spans digital marketing, event production, and strategic brand positioning, allowing me to create campaigns that resonate with consumers.
I have worked as a freelance Digital Marketer, using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to promote lifestyle products. By analyzing market trends and consumer behavior, I have developed effective advertisements and launched successful campaigns for brands such as LA Fitness and campus organizations.
Merchandising & Retail Strategy
My expertise in merchandising has sharpened my ability to enhance digital and physical product presentation. As a Visual Merchandising employee at the Kraken Team Store and an intern at J2 Showroom, I have curated product displays, optimized showroom layouts, and implemented strategic retail merchandising. These experiences have helped me create engaging shopping environments that increase sales and strengthen brand identity.
Event Production & Media Relations
Beyond marketing and merchandising, I have contributed to event production and media relations. I assisted in luxury fashion events with Luly Yang and directed community fashion shows, helping to shape the creative vision of each project. These experiences expanded my expertise in brand representation, audience engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
My Passion & Vision
I thrive at the intersection of fashion, media, and business. My ability to build media relationships, develop impactful campaigns, and curate compelling merchandising strategies allows me to create meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.
With love,
Natalie
